POSITION:
Intervention Specialist, Rossford Elementary School
LONGTERM SUBSTITUTE POSITION
Beginning in January through the end of the school year
SALARY: $125/day
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Valid and appropriate State of Ohio K-12 Intervention License
- Excellent organization and communication skills
- Genuine desire to support efforts to achieve the district vison: Preparing, inspiring, and empowering all students to achieve success
- Experience with Ohio’s Extended Learning Standards (OLS-E) as well as inclusion and co-teaching
- Training and/or experience collaborating with teachers to modify general education coursework
- Experience with writing and implementing Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Experience with functional behavioral assessments and behavioral improvement plans
- Training in a Research-Based Reading Instruction Program preferred
DUTIES:
- Effectively collaborate with colleagues, parents, and other stakeholders
- Serve as a role model for students in how to conduct themselves as responsible citizens
- Fulfill responsibilities as outlined in applicable job description(s), including other duties as assigned by the Principal, Director of Student Services, or Superintendent of Schools
